Candlelight Theatre presents "Trapped!"

April 19 - May 4, 2013

A man and woman locked in an apartment; an invalid woman terrified in the confines of her room; and avacationing couple in a remote village who fear they cannot leave – these are three tales that await theatre-goers in the spring 2013 Candlelight Theatre production of Trapped!

Audience members rotate through three rooms of the presidential mansion, lit by candles, to experience each ofthe three one-act plays performed among the Harrisons’ opulent furnishings and artifacts.

The back parlor is the set for Agatha Christie’s drama “The Rats.” Two people have been invited to a party; however, they find they are the only guests. As the chilling plot unfolds, the pair learns of their diabolical host's sinister surprise.

Lucille Fletcher’s masterpiece “Sorry, Wrong Number” is staged in the master bedroom. When telephone lines cross, an invalid woman overhears a cold blooded murder plot. Her frantic attempt to gather more information leads her to a chilling discovery.

In the dining room, Shirley Jackson’s mystery “The Summer People” is performed. A couple vacationing in a remote New England village decide it would be nice to extend their summer vacation an extra few weeks. However the villagers have a surprise in store for them.

Don't missTrapped! - weekends April 19 thru May 4, 2013. Curtain is at 8pm; 2pm for the Sunday matinee.
