2013 OC2C Spring Workshops - Statewide Training

28 days of FREE training will be offered throughout the state. 14 this spring and another 14 in the fall.
The workshops are set up as two day trainings. the first day for collections care and the second day for emergency preparedness. Dates and locations for the spring workshops are listed below. The workshop dates and locations will be announced at a later time.
2013 OC2C Spring Workshops
Day 1 - Collections Care covers collection policy, preservation planning, collections assessments, environmental controls, collection problem solving, and networking.
Day 2 - Emergency Preparedness includes connecting with emergency responders, disaster planning, identifying threats and resources, collections prioritization, and involving the public in disaster preparedness.
- April 15 & 16 - Coos Bay Public Library
- April 18 & 19 - Medford Public Library
- April 22 & 23 - Benton County Historical Society Museum (Philomath)
- April 29 & 30 - Bend Library Administration Building
- May 9 & 10 - Architectural Heritage Center (Portland), part of the Oregon Heritage Conference
- May 14 & 15 - Tamastslikt Cultural Institute (Pendleton)
- May 16 & 17 - Columbia River Maritime Museum (Portland)
Registration is required. Lunch will be held together at the meeting location. You are welcome to bring your own lunch or purchase one through registration.
