It’s all about spring survival at the Fort. During the week of Spring Break drop in to Fort Langley NHS to see if you have what it takes to survive as a fur trader! Learn to start fire the traditional way with flint & steel at 11am, once you’ve mastered fire starting participate in the “Fur Trader time trials” at 12:30 and test your skills carrying fur bales. At 2pm hear the bang of musket fire echo through the fort, bake bannock over the open fire at 3pm and then hone your finger weaving skills at 3:30pm. Throughout the day visit the blacksmith shop, identify wild animal tracks and complete your Xplorers activities book for a certificate and a prize. Enjoy lunch at the Full Barrel Café open from 11am – 2pm.
