Start your weekend early with a Thursday evening tour.

In addition to the weekly Saturday morning walking tours, the Madison Trust will offer Twilight Tours every Thursday evening in August. Interactive tours will explore a different historic district each week.

All tours start at 6 p.m. and last about and hour. Cost is $5 per person and tours are free for members of the Madison Trust. Tours conclude with a free drink at a local restaurant -- a perfect way to start the weekend!

  Thursday, Aug. 2 at 6 p.m.
  Enjoy a free select glass of house wine at Tutto Pasta Cucina Italiano following the tour; stay for dinner!
  
• Mansion Hill East
  Thursday, Aug. 9 at 6 p.m.
  Enjoy a free beverage at the Edgewater Pier following the tour; stay for a lakefront dinner!
  
• Mansion Hill West
  Thursday, Aug. 16 at 6 p.m.
  Enjoy a free pint at the Plaza Tavern and Grill following the tour; stay for a Plazaburger!
  
• University Heights
  Thursday, Aug. 23 at 6 p.m.
  Enjoy a free tap beer or house wine at Blue Moon Bar and Grill following the tour; stay for dinner!

For all tours:
Reservations are not required for most tours except for the Bascom Hill tour as noted below. Simply show up at the designated starting point; docents are ready rain or shine. All tours are $5 per person and free to members of the Madison Trust.
