Macculloch Hall Historical Museum presents “An Evening in the Salon with Sebastián Forster” on Saturday, September 21, 2013 at 6:00 p.m. in Morristown, NJ. Held at the historic Kellogg Club just steps from the Museum, this elegant evening of music, sumptuous hors d’oeuvres and a selection of wines features a private performance by internationally-acclaimed pianist Sebastián Forster. Born in Buenos Aires, Sebastián Forster has been hailed by international critics, renowned artists and colleagues as among the truly great classical music soloists in the world today. Mr. Forster recently completed an extraordinary project: recording the 32 complete piano sonatas of Ludwig von Beethoven, available as “Beethoven: Magnificent Obsession.” He lives in Morristown’s Historic District.
The evening will also include a Silent Auction featuring vacation houses, a round of golf at a private club, and theater tickets. Proceeds from the event support the programs, exhibits, and activities of Macculloch Hall Historical Museum in Morristown, NJ.
