Nature in Ceramics: Weller Art Ware
Opening Reception August 2nd, 2013, 6:00 - 8:00 pm
Architectural Heritage Center
701 SE Grand Ave, Portland, OR, 97214
www.visitahc.org

An exhibit of Weller Art Ware courtesy of pottery aficionados and AHC members Laura and Phil Allhands.  These nature-themed pieces drawn from their extensive collection of ceramics compliment the "Two Rivers, Three Sisters" quilt currently being shown at the AHC.  Weller Art Ware was made from the famous clays in and near Zanesville, Ohio from 1872 to 1948.  The pieces on display are from the Muskota, Woodcraft, and Coppertone lines and date from 1920 to 1929.

This event is free and refreshments will be served.
