Growing in the Garden - “The A,B,Cs of Apples” & “Hungry Before Hibernation?”

Who’s getting ready for a deep winter sleep in the garden at Macculloch Hall Historical Museum? Children ages 3 to 5 years old and their caregivers are invited to the Museum on Tuesday, November 19, 2013 from 1:15 to 2 p.m. to discover how chipmunks prepare for their quiet winter sleep. Children will hear a Native American story about chipmunks and will make a chipmunk finger puppet to take home.
“Growing in the Garden” is a year-round program meeting twice a month at Macculloch Hall Historical Museum. The program lasts 45 minutes from 1:15pm – 2pm. There are limited spaces, pre-registration is required. The cost for the program is $8 per pair (child and caregiver) for Museum members and $12 per pair for non-members.
