The weekend Field School in Preservation Philosophy and Practice is a unique opportunity for graduate and undergraduate students in historic preservation and related fields. Through lectures, case studies, and field observation at Historic New England properties, learn how Historic New England's preservation philosophy influences decision-making and translates to real world applications, moving from conditions assessment to interpretation, implementation planning, and treatment. Registration includes meals. Lodging and transportation to sites not included.
$130 Historic New England members, $175 nonmembers (includes Individual membership), $65 students
Limited to twenty-two participants with priority registration to students. Students must present a valid student ID at check-in.
