Open House Tour and Reception in Greenwood

October 26, 2013

The Palmetto Trust for Historic Preservationinvites you to tour two beautiful historic homes in Greenwood, SC, each in different stages of restoration, and explore the important role that historic preservation plays, not only in recording local history, but in maintaining and growing the economy.

First, Mr. and Mrs. Greg Ohanesian will be on hand to tell about the changes they have made and their plans for the completion of the 1815 house on Scotch Cross Road in South Greenwood.

Next on the tour, Dr. and Mrs. Phil McClary will be opening their lovely Chinese Chippendale home and gardens for view. Enjoy a beer or glass of wine and hors d'oeuvres as you stroll through the house and gardens and see how the McClary's have rebuilt and restored this beautiful old home, once located in downtown Anderson.

Slides and other information regarding the work of the Palmetto Trust for Historic Preservation in the Greenwood area and around the state will be shared at both houses.

We invite you to celebrate these successes of the Palmetto Trust, and to become a part of this important work.  Join us to get acquainted and tour two fabulous historic houses.
