Historic Properties Workshop

Pasadena Heritage presents a one-day workshop on the unique aspects of buying, selling, owning, and restoring historic properties. Tailored to the area’s rich inventory of historic architecture, this event brings together experts to provide practical advice, informative examples, and to answer your questions.
Participants can choose from a full day or a half-day of sessions. Topics include how to identify architectural styles, methods for property research and documentation, an in depth look at local regulations and what designation means, the many steps and actors involved in the buying and selling process, and an overview of various economic incentives for owning historic properties. Workshop participants will receive a resource booklet to take home.
The workshop will be held at the Westridge School for Girls in Pasadena from 9:00am – 4:30pm on Saturday, November 16.
This event is co-hosted by the City of Pasadena’s Planning and Community Development Department and the Pasadena-Foothills Association of Realtors with generous support from HomeStreet Bank and Zemrus Escrow, Inc.

Full-day advance purchase is $35 for members / $45 for non-members. Half-day advance registration (morning or afternoon sessions only) is $20 for members / $25 for non-members.
