Seattle Architecture Foundation "Design in Depth" Lecture: Pioneer Square
February 11, 2014 |
Join SAF for its second "Design in Depth" event focusing on Pioneer Square. Seattle's Pioneer Square has a history of ups and downs. After years of talking about the "renaissance of Pioneer Square", new housing, retail, restaurants and a slew of businesses are moving in. What does the future of Pioneer Square look like, and how do we maintain the City's first neighborhood's architectural history while creating a "new" place that will thrive and once again be a shining star for Seattle?
Guest speakers include Matt Dillon, Chef/Restaurant Owner; Mark Hinshaw, LMN Architects; Greg Smith, Urban Visions; Karen True, Alliance for Pioneer Square; and Todd Vogel, International Sustainability Institute. For more information, go to www.seattlearchitecture.org. Tickets can be purchased at Brown Paper Tickets.
