The Historic Midtown Citizens Association Walking Tour of Homes has been an annual event for over 30 years in Wichita, Kansas.

Each year, five homes are selected from one of our state recognized historic districts and showcased to the public. Costumes docents will greet you and guide you through each home, pointing out significant architectural and decorative pieces as well as give you some history of the homes.

This tour is a wonderful opportunity to see the care and dedication given by homeowners to these historic gems. The entire family will enjoy the tour, along with the atmosphere of classic cars lining the street, the music of the bagpipers and the organ grinder, and some tasty treats from bygone times.

Mark your calendar for Saturday and Sunday, October 13 and 14, 2007, and head to Wichita to see the timeless elegance of Emporia Street.

Tickets are $10.00 if ordered in advance, and $10.00 on the day of the tour.
