Intro to Power Tools (Restore Michiana)
March 8, 2014 |
Restore Michiana is pleased to invite you to attend Intro to Power Tools. This hands-on training is equally beneficial for men and women with little or no experience using power tools. Learn sawing, routing, sanding, and drilling while you build your own coat/hat rack from start to finish to take home. If learning how to use power tools isn’t
convincing enough, this event is taking place at one of the most enduring and one-of-a-kind properties in St. Joseph County, the Birdsell mansion. Owned by Mag Mile Properties, Birdsell mansion is a South Bend Local Historic Landmark built in 1898 for the Birdsell family and is currently available for lease. Registration for Intro to Power Tools is limited to 12 participants.
Restore Michiana, a partnership of Indiana Landmarks and Historic Preservation Commission of South Bend & St. Joseph County, is an annual series for owners of vintage homes, contractors and students. Participants will learn best practices from experts in the field for a wide variety of repairs and restoration topics. Sponsors for this
workshop include: ToolMade, Jeff Dierbeck, Hill's TrueValue, Habitat ReStore, Bruno's Pizza Downtown, Mag Mile Properties.
