Mercer Island Mid-Century Modern House Tour
March 15, 2014 |
Join Docomomo WEWA for their first event of 2014, featuring a tour of the Seiler house on Mercer Island. Built in 1960 for Boeing engineer Ralph Seiler and his wife Gloria, the residence was designed by architect Roderick G. Parr. The original landscape was designed by Ed Watanabe, landscape architect. This mid-century Northwest residence has been sensitively and comprehensively updated for contemporary living. Meet architect Ryan Rhodes and learn about the remodel project. $5 per person. (Very limited on-street parking; carpooling is encouraged). For more information, contact Docomomo WEWA.
