Underground Railroad Field Trip on the Eastern Shore

Spring is just around the corner and now is your chance to join Preservation Maryland on our first Historic Preservation Field Trip of 2014! Come discover the history of the Underground Railroad, learn about efforts to preserve and reuse antebellum buildings in Caroline County, and view rural landscapes that look just as they did when Harriet Tubman crossed them over 150 years ago!
On this day long field trip, you will have a wonderful opportunity to learn from local experts about the people and places connected with the Underground Railroad on the Eastern Shore.
