July 7-11, 2014 |
The University of Florida Historic Preservation Program and Preservation Institute Nantucket in collaboration with the National Center for Preservation Technology and Training is offering a coordinated workshop (5 days) and field school (3 weeks) on 3D laser scanning and photogrammetric documentation for historic preservation. Upon completion, participants will be able to describe the advantages and disadvantages of each technique, understand their applications, and define and articulate goals when designing a 3D scanning or photogrammetry documentation project. (Those participating in the three-week field school will complete a 3D laser scanning project.) Registration fee: $500
