Tour of the Ivy Hotel

On Thursday, June 26th, members of Preservation Maryland's Heritage Society will get an exclusive 'Hard Hat Tour' of the soon to open Ivy Hotel. The new super luxury, boutique hotel that is emerging from an $18 million restoration of the Government House located at the corner of Calvert and Biddle Streets in Baltimore. The hotel will feature 18 rooms, half of which will be 3-room suites with room rates of $650+ per night. The project also includes the construction of an addition to the building and the creation of an upscale 50 to 70 seat restaurant. The project is being shepherded by Preservation Maryland board member Tony Azola and the Azola Group. A reception will follow.
This tour is open to members of the Heritage Society and their guests only. Heritage Society members are entitled to four tickets to this exclusive event. Society membership is open to any individual or corporation which contributes at least $2,500 to Preservation Maryland in a 12 month period. Please consider joining the Heritage Society today! The next Heritage Society event will be a 'Hard Hat Tour' of the renovation work that is currently underway on the Washington Monument, followed by a reception at The Mount Vernon Club. That event will be held on Tuesday, October 28, 2014.
