Contemplating acquiring, restoring and revitalizing a historic theatre? Already have one and need some help? This workshop, held in collaboration with the League of Historic American Theatres and the Wisconsin Historical Society, will feature nationally recognized experts who will provide a thorough overview of the process of rescuing, rehabilitating, and successfully operating a historic theatre. Come with a project and leave with a plan.
Who Should Attend? Historic theatre owners and stewards, architects, historic preservation professionals, members of local historic preservation organizations, city staff, performing arts organizations, Chambers of Commerce, and Main Street leaders. Development teams, or groups who want to rehabilitate a historic theatre, are encouraged to attend.
