South Dakota Humanities Council Speaker’s Bureau Scholar, Donovin Sprague, will
discuss the changes the Lakota and Cheyenne experienced following victories they achieved in 1876. The program will include the surrenders of the Lakota and Cheyenne, their placement and new life on the reservations.
The source of the information is from an unpublished book about the Lakota and Cheyenne by Sprague. Homestake Adams Research and Cultural Center (HARCC); 12:00 noon. Admission by donation.
