NCPTT Announces 2008 PTT Grants Call for Proposals
September 19 - October 15, 2007 |
The National Center for Preservation Technology and Training (NCPTT) announces its 2008 Call for Proposals to the Preservation Technology and Training Grants program. NCPTT awards grants for up to $50,000 to projects, training, book manuscripts, and bookshops that develop or disseminate new and emerging preservation technologies. For the first time this year, NCPTT is offering a pre-proposal opportunity so that you can quickly and easily determine if your idea meets the PTT Grants program goals. The pre-proposal is a one page form that can be filled out on the web. We ask for a brief project description, statement of national need, time frame, and overall cost. Based on the quality and fit of the pre-proposal letter, applicants may be invited to complete an on-line application for 2008 funding.
The deadline for pre-proposals is October 15, 2007. For more information, visit http://www.ncptt.nps.gov, or call 318-356-7444. |
