Open House for Prospective Volunteers at Thomas Jefferson’s Poplar Forest

Learn more about volunteering at Thomas Jefferson’s Poplar Forest at an informal, informational seminar for individuals interested in donating their time to the presidential retreat as docents, hands-on history volunteers or museum shop assistants. Members of the Poplar Forest volunteer corps have a unique opportunity to immerse themselves in the history and heritage of Mr. Jefferson’s octagonal villa and plantation, and are among those “in-the-know” about all-things Poplar Forest including new archaeological discoveries made on the grounds and upcoming events.
