The Bannock County Historical Society Presents: Hugh and Alice Hatch on the subject of “Doll Pox”!
At this month’s business meeting the Bannock County Historical Society will be enjoying a presentation by Hugh and Alice Hatch on “Doll Pox.” Doll Pox is the malady blamed by Hugh and Alice for causing the enormous accumulation of dolls in their possession, a collection so large it occupies its own building (aptly named Hatch’s Haus of Dolls). From this spectacular collection, the Hatch’s have gifted the Museum several rare historic figures dolls. These gorgeous and historically accurate dolls were created by the United States Historical Society, and are the only dolls of this type in the State of Idaho. The dolls will go on display the day of this event. This will be a fun presentation for those who can relate to a collection obsession!
