New Orleans Seminar: Building & Rebuilding Traditional Neighborhoods
December 13, 2007 |
The City of New Orleans has long been an exemplary study of quality architecture, distinct neighborhood corridors and vibrant retail districts. Rebuilding efforts are continuing in the southern portion of the state and provide a unique opportunity to resurrect the principles of traditional neighborhood planning at the scale of city blocks, community squares, and the greater New Orleans region.
At this seminar, valuable insights will be offered to newcomers of the New Urbanism movement and experienced practitioners alike. The members of our distinguished faculty are recognized as leaders in the fields critical to well- planned and well-executed sustainable communities, including design, marketing, codes, market analysis, finance and transportation. This is your opportunity to learn from some of the most respected practitioners the design and development skills needed to create strong neighborhoods.
