In case you missed it in Quebec or Hawaii, the APT Documentation Technologies Workshop is coming to Philadelphia!
Presenters are traveling from around the country to provide an exceptional workshop focused on documentation technologies from Measured Building Survey (MBS) tools to photogrammetry to drones. This workshop originated at the Quebec APT Conference and has been formatted for travel in order to be hosted by local chapters. The Delaware Valley Chapter has the pleasure of hosting this unique workshop on March 11th-12th, 2016. We hope you take advantage of this opportunity to have this national expertise delivered to your neighborhood. See below for more specifics and REGISTER TODAY!
WORKSHOP OVERVIEW:
In rehabilitating important existing structures, it is crucial to begin by fully and accurately gathering data on geometry and current conditions. Documentation data form the platform for condition analysis and the basis for engineers and architects to develop designs, from the planning phase through implementation during construction.
Through a combination of presentations, demonstrations, and panel discussions, participants in this workshop will learn about the latest technologies for obtaining the information and data critical for project planning, analysis, and diagnostics. Participants will also learn how to assemble an effective data gathering strategy to fit differing project needs. AIA CE credits (11.25) will also be available!
