Oar Making Course

Have a nice rowboat of your own but need some new oars, or just want to make your own?
Join us at the Finger Lakes Boating Museum for a two day course on oar making! The course will take place on April 9th and 10th at 10:00 A.M.
Ed Wightman will guide us through the steps of making an oar for a boat. Ed is the FLBM President and boat enthusiast and owner of his own boat restoration shop--WWBoats. Participants will work with him to build one oar that they will be able to take home themselves!
There is only a $30.00 registration fee for materials, and those interested in participating should register by Saturday, April 2nd. To register, call us at (607) 569-2222 or email us at info@flbm.org.
