Join preservation professionals from Historic New England, Massachusetts Historical Commission, and local commissions for a workshop on management issues related to local preservation.
This workshop, the first in a series of three focusing on different preservation management themes, covers important concepts in design review in local historic districts. Learn from case study examples and mock hearings on this important part of local preservation regulation.
Learn how to work with historic district properties and find out how professional preservation staff manage and respond to challenging issues in historic districts.
This workshop is designed for commission members, planners, historical societies, Community Preservation Act committee members, and others charged with managing buildings and districts at the local level.
