This event features 1750-1790 historically dressed participants, camps, music, games, crafts, merchants, and shooting competitions.
Chasseurs du Datchurat (Hunters of Datchurat) is a group of historical reenactors that recreates the lives of the longhunters of the Illinois country and Spanish Louisiana from the middle 1760's to the middle 1770's. Other participants are experienced volunteer reenactors.
Cost: Free (for visitors), suggested donation of $10 per family, $4 per adult, and $2 per child
Food/vendors: Local Boy Scouts will sell food in the trading post. Various craftspeople and merchants will be selling reproduction period goods.
Current Site Hours: 9:00am-5:00pm, Thursday-Sunday
