Landmark Real Estate Seminar
February 6, 2008 |
The fifth annual seminar designed to give real estate professionals the knowledge and information necessary to successfully market houses in historic neighborhoods and districts. Real Estate Professionals can earn 8 CEC with this class. This year, Historic Denver is pleased to offer this seminar in conjunction with Colorado Preservation, Inc’s annual Saving Places Conference, the country’s largest statewide gathering of historic preservation professionals.
Denver’s housing market is unique in that there are 44 historic districts and over 300 individually designated structures within its limits. This significant number creates a compelling need for local real estate professionals to educate their clients about the benefits and responsibilities involved in owning a historic property. The Landmark Real Estate Seminar combines Historic Denver’s 37 years of experience with that of local community preservationists to present the following topics:
- Maintenance & Construction Basics for Historic Properties
- Legal Aspects and Tax Benefits of Historic Designation
- Marketing Historic Properties
- Introduction to Denver’s Architectural Styles
- Researching Historic Properties
