Lake Oswego's 13th Annual Holiday Home Tour

December 6, 2006

The Lake Oswego Junior Women's Club is proud to announce it's 13th Annual Holiday Home Tour, to be held on Wednesday, December 6th, 2006 from 11:00 am until 8:00pm. The annual fund-raising event will feature four homes exquisitely decorated for the holidays, with all proceeds benefiting women's and children's agencies throughout the greater Portland area.

This year's tour includes four beautifully decorated homes that vary in style and design: a river-front masterpiece bordered by its own vineyard and completed in 2006; a mid-centry eclectic ranch, remodeled for 21st century family living; a 2005 "old world" classic situated amid the woods of central Lake Oswego; and a cottage home nestled on Oswego Lake. The homeowners, along with local florists, combine their design expertise to create a magnificent feeling of holiday warmth and joy to share for the special day. Just a few of the musicians who provide live entertainment throughout the day include Michael Allen Harrison & Soli Deo Gloria; and John English "The Voice".

Tickets are $30 each and are limited. They may be purchased on-line or at the following Lake Oswego merchants:

  • Accessories from the Heart
  • Buddies Flowers
  • Lambs Palisades Market
  • R. Blooms of Lake Oswego
  • Westlake Gifts
  • Wizers Lake Grove Market
  • West Linn Dance Center
  • Andrews Fine Furniture Galleries
  • Lake Oswego Chamber of Commerce
  • Oswego Lake Gallery
  • The Grand Papery & Gifts
  • Wizers Oswego Foods
  • Dragonfly Greetings & Gifts - West Linn
  • Design Within Reach - Bridgeport Village

This December there will be No Boutique portion of the tour; in lieu of the Boutique please join the LOJWC for Helping Hands II - A purse Auction Party, April 12th, 2007.

Due to limited home accessibility and city parking regulations, guests of the Holiday Home Tour will be required to use the Home Tour Shuttle Service. Shuttle service locations and parking are detailed on each Home Tour Ticket.

Shuttle #1 Riverdale Neighborhood. Corner of SW Riverwood & SW Military Road, Portland

Shuttle #2 The Lakewood Center 368 S. State (corner of State & Hwy 43) and Middlecrest Road, Lake Oswego

Shuttle #3 The United Church of Christ 1111 Country Club Road (corner of Country Club & Knaus Rd.), Lake Oswego A limited number of tickets will be available for puchase the day of the event ONLY at the United Church of Christ Shuttle Stop #3.

The Holiday Home Tour is one of the Lake Oswego Junior Women's Club's signature fundraising events. Since 1991, the 100% volunteer organization has donated over 1.5 million dollars for women's and children's charities in the greater Portland area. Last year the LOJWC contributed over $115,000 dollars to charities including the following:

  • Casa
  • Parrott Creek
  • Listen to Kids
  • Hope Dolls
  • Community Transitional School
  • North Portland Nurses
  • Love Inc.

Six college scholarships were also awarded to worthy students in the Lake Oswego School District.
