Nine historic downtown sites host a free, 19th century holiday open house, featuring tours, living history and reenactments, gift shop discounts, children’s activities, refreshments, carriage rides, music, and special guest appearances. 2007 participating sites include the Valentine Richmond History Center and the Wickham House, the John Marshall House, the Virginia State Capitol, the Museum and White House of the Confederacy, Monumental Church, the Egyptian Building, the Beers House, Hunton Student Center, and St. John’s Church. FREE AND OPEN TO THE PUBLIC.
Time: 12:00-5:00 p.m.
Free transportation provided (shuttle stops at each site every 15-20 minutes). Refreshments for purchase, depending upon venue.
($20 tickets to the Church Hill Holiday House Tour, also on Dec. 9th, will be available at St. John’s Church Parish Hall.)
