Glessner House Museum Holiday Weekend
December 8-9, 2007 |
The Glessner House Museum, located at 1800 S. Prairie Avenue in Chicago's Near South Loop neighborhood will be hosting "Historic Holidays on Prairie Avenue" during the weekend of December 8 and 9. On both days, candlelight tours of the Glessner House and adjacent Clarke House Museum will be offered at 6:00, 6:30 and 7:00pm. An Arts & Crafts Fair will also be held both days from noon until 7:00pm. On Saturday December 8 only, an afternoon of children's activities will include horse-drawn carriage rides, story telling, ornament making, cookie decorating, games, and a visit with Santa Claus.
