Hamilton Museum Open House
Saturday, June 17, 20167 - 1-5pm
Sponsored by Bank First National
This is a great family event, and it's FREE and open to the public. Guided tours will be offered at 1pm and 3pm, or visitors are welcome to browse on their own. Type-cutting demonstrations are scheduled at 1:30pm and 3:30pm so you will see for yourself how wood type is made. All visitors will have an opportunity to print and keep their own poster that has been pre-designed using wood type.
All ages are welcome. Come and explore the Hamilton Museum during our Open House and stay for the Gallery Reception. You may be surprised at how much Two Rivers and wood type history we have right here, thanks to JE Hamilton who founded the Hamilton Company in 1880. While you're here on June 17, be sure to register for a door prize.
Museum Hours: Sunday, 1-5pm; Monday (closed); Tuesday through Saturday, 10am - 5pm. 920.794.6272
