Colorful Origins: Historic New England's Period Paint Pioneers

On Saturday, July 22, from 10:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., join paint color expert and senior preservation services manager Sally Zimmerman for an in-depth paint tour of two Historic New England properties. Cogswell's Grant and Beauport reveal their owners' pioneering efforts to portray period color in their homes in the early twentieth century. Both houses provided color references for Historic New England's Twentieth Century Colors of America paint palette.
The program begins at Cogswell's Grant. Refreshments at Beauport are included.
