Visit Bialystoker Synagogue, the largest active Orthodox congregation on the Lower East Side, America's most famous immigrant neighborhood, and a stop pn the Underground Railroad. See Beth Hamedrash Hagadol, once home of the largest Russian Jewish Congregation and home to the only Chief Rabbi in the USA. Tour a Shtiebl (one room house of prayer).
