The 23rd Historic Homes Parlor Tour
December 7-9, 2007 |
The 23rd Historic Homes Parlor Tour is self-guided and features 10 homes that reflect the long history of prosperity and elegance in Baker City, Oregon. The homes, open Saturday December 8th, range from simple frame homes to ornate Victorians like the Shinn-Wisdom house, circa 1876, and modern structures. Lumber from the region's forests, bricks from local clay beds and native stone all contributed to the city's architectural heritage. There is also a hospitality stop for refreshments.
Hours and Cost: 12-5pm $12-$15. Tickets available on tour day at Basche-Sage Place, 2101 Main Street. |
