Spring Home Tour Lecture and Screening on Landscape Architect Ruth Shellhorn

Welcome Kelly Comras who will speak on the career and accomplishments of distinguished Mid-Century landscape architect Ruth Shellhorn. The evening includes a screening of the Ruth Shellhorn documentary and book-signing. Shellhorn is perhaps best known for her work on the Bullock's department stores and her work with Walt Disney on the original design of Disneyland. She also designed the landscape master plan for UC at Riverside and other campuses as well as a number of private gardens and estates for movie stars and business leaders in the Los Angeles region.
Come early! Doors will open at 6:00 p.m. for guided tours of the Shakespeare Club and a cash bar. Ms. Comras book will be for sale and orders may be placed for Pasadena Heritage's oral history of Ruth Shellhorn.
