Grand Tour: Celebrating 125 Years of the Martin Mitchell Mansion

Take an in-depth “Grand Tour” of the award-winning Martin Mitchell Mansion, a Victorian home listed on the National Register of Historic Places. Considered the crown jewel of Naper Settlement, the mansion has been the City’s museum since 1939. While celebrating the 125th anniversary of the mansion’s construction, learn about the family, the renovations and the building’s history in this revealing tour, which will be held from 1 to 3 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 23 at Naper Settlement, a historic museum village in downtown Naperville, Ill., just 30 miles west of Chicago.
