Fisk House Tour
August 18, 2018 |
Join Docomomo WEWA for a summer tour of the Fisk house in Bellevue's Cougar Hills neighborhood.
In 1965, original owner James Fisk, a Boeing computer engineer, commissioned architect Harry Cummings of the Kirkland firm, Cummings and Martenson, to custom design a residence. Built in 1966, the house has been masterfully restored by the current owner and project team. This multi-year project is an outstanding example of a light touch approach to upgrading a mid-century modern residence to today's living standards, while retaining much of the original integrity. New landscaping appropriate to the site and house design rounds out the whole project.
We invite you to view this fantastic residence with us, meet the current owner, and engage with Docomomo WEWA Board members and volunteers to learn more about the organization's recent efforts in preservation advocacy and upcoming programs.
Stay for refreshing beverages in the back patio or on the balcony--we may even have a signature cocktail!
