Youth Architecture Workshops - Level I
June 16-19, 2008 |
LEVEL I: A great experience for students entering grade 7 – 12. Participants learn about architectural and design history through innovative instruction, touring and hands-on projects. The Level I workshop instructs students in basic architectural terms, demonstrating how to draw plans and elevations, and leads them in designing for a “client.” Students will design their own versions of a Usonian house, creating scaled floor plans and then translating them into three-dimensional models.
Date: June 16-19 Time: 8:30 - 11:30 am Location: Frank Lloyd Wright Home and Studio, 951 Chicago Avenue, Oak Park Fee: $125 for Preservation Trust members/$150 for non-members. Space is limited. Advance reservations are required. |
