Torrance Historical Society's Original Fall Tour of Historic Homes
October 13-14, 2018 |
Torrance, CA: On Saturday & Sunday, October 13th - 14th, 2018, the streets of Old Torrance will be buzzing with visitors from all around the South Bay, as the Torrance Historical Society is hosting their biennial Original Fall Tour of Historic Homes. Guests will tour the inside of a half-dozen homes, and will see how others have renovated, updated and decorated their historic homes to accommodate today’s life-style, yet managed to preserve the charming architecture and characteristics of the past.
The homes on the tour reflect an eclectic mix - from Spanish Colonial Revival to Craftsman Bungalow to Mission Revival - which characterize and add to the charm of Old Torrance -- founded 1912. Houses on the Tour were built between 1918 and 1936. Each home will have a Model A car parked in front of it courtesy of South Bay Touring A's.
