Join Archivist Mark Holland on Thursday, February 28 at 6:00 PM for the McKinley Presidential Library & Museum’s next Soup at Six. Mark will illustrate with sight and sound a part of William McKinley’s life in Canton before he places himself on the national scene as Congressman Governor of Ohio, and President of the United States. You will be transported back to Canton, Ohio in the 1870’s and 1880’s. You will learn more about William McKinley, his new bride, Ida Saxton Mckinley, and their life in Canton, Ohio. Canton became a refuge from the hustle and bustle of the capital city. See how William McKinley rose to a seat in The United States Congress, his victories and defeats.
This exciting evening begins with one of our signature soups, fresh baked bread, drinks and dessert.
