The National Lighthouse Museum will go back-to-basics for Ships 101. Join Captain Joseph Ahlstrom (Professor at SUNY Maritime College and First Vice President of the NLM) as he discusses types of ships, crew’s duties, flag state, navigation, need-to-know nautical terms, ship technology and more. Great for beginners, as a refresher course for intermediate maritime enthusiasts or those considering a maritime career.
