September 14, 2019
Discover the History: Life in a Japanese-American Internment Camp
Join us Saturday, September 14 from 3 to 4:30 PM for our next Discover
the History as Ted Tanaka leads a thought-provoking discussion exploring his family’s life during World War II at Camp Manzanar which was one of 10 incarceration centers operated by the War Relocation Authority to detain
Japanese-Americans.

Speaker:

Ted Tetsudo Tanaka is a Japanese-American, born in West LA. He with his immigrant parents were interned by the US government during WWII. He is a consultant to US-EU biotechnology companies to develop and market their next-generation drugs through creating joint ventures in Japan. Ted is a Harvard-Westlake School past Parents’ Association president.

This discussion is free of charge and includes free access to our galleries.
