Spring Lecture - "Wallace Neff, Master Architect"
February 23, 2020 |
Wallace Neff may be best known today as an "architect to the stars," a much sought-after designer for the elite of Hollywood with a stellar array of commissions from legendary classic actors. Co-authors Marc Appleton, Eleanor Schrader and Bret Parsons have gathered the earliest issues of Architectural Digest and put together a volume fo Wallace Neff's work as part of their series Master Architects of Southern California 1920-1940. For our lecture, the authors will introduce their upcoming book and present details of the architect's life and projects. The lecture will serve as an introduction to a tour of a selection of Wallace Neff's Pasadena designs on Sunday, March 29th.
