Ghostly Tales with the Gaslamp Museum Staff
October 13, 2020 |
One of the most common questions we get from our guests at the museum is, “Is the House haunted?”
At 170 years old, the oldest standing structure in San Diego’s historic Gaslamp Quarter the Davis-Horton House does have its share of strange and unusual tales.
Throughout its history the house has served as a pre-civil war military barracks, a county hospital, a private residence, an illegal liquor dispensary during Prohibition, and even has some espionage history!
Many stories of ghostly encounters are told by our visitors but what about the people that spend much of their time tending to the house?
This month, come hear never before told tales of the Davis-Horton House’s ghostly visitors from the people who know it best- the Staff of the Gaslamp Museum.
For three evenings this October, join one of your hosts; Jamie, Rhiannon, or Sandee as they bring you (virtually) into the House and tell you of their own experiences of unexplained happenings, ghostly sightings, and more.
Available for three evenings only from 5 - 5:30 PM via Zoom: October 13th, 20th, and 27th.
30 minutes live streaming directly from the Davis-Horton house.
Our staff- and our ghosts- can’t wait to relay our stories with you this season!
