Virtual Lunchtime Lecture: 19th-Century Petkeeping
January 8-11, 2021 |
Join us for our monthly discussion of an aspect of life in early 19th-century America. This month we will discuss the evolution of keeping pets, and explore questions such as: Was this a common practice in the 1800s? Why or why not? What pets were popular? What was the relationship between pets and new ideas of child rearing? Free.If you want a photo of your pet included in a collage that we will share at the end of the lecture, email it to info@mvhm.org by January 6.
