Capitol Hill Modern

Join Docomomo US/WEWA and Capitol Hill Historical Society for a closer look at Capitol Hill Modern, an extensive historical survey of Mid-Century Modern multi-family buildings on Capitol Hill presented by historian Tom Heuser and photographer Lana Blinderman.
Their presentation (via Zoom) will share some of the historical circumstances within which Mid-Century architecture emerged and changed over time in the neighborhood, the methodology for the research and photography, photographs of some of the more noteworthy buildings encountered, and other highlights and surprises discovered along the way.
The event is free but you’ll need to register to gain access (the meeting is hosted by Zoom).
