Virtual Lecture: A Brief Outline of Annapolis History

January 18, 2022

Tuesday, January 18 - 7 pm EST

Annapolis has a long, complicated past which mirrors the larger American story, and gaining a firm mental handle on it can be difficult. Historic Annapolis Senior Historian Glenn E. Campbell breaks down the history of Maryland’s capital city into bite-sized, thematic blocks of time to help you make sense of it all.  From the town’s birth in the 17th century to the challenges and opportunities it faces now in the 21st, our speaker highlights what has made Annapolis a special community for hundreds of years. This opening talk in our 2022 Virtual Lecture Series complements the exciting new exhibition, Annapolis: An American Story, now on display at the Museum of Historic Annapolis.

Registration required.

Cost: $15 per household for General Admission; $10 per household for HA Members & Volunteers; Free for HA Docents
