Preservation Academy Series

Preservation Virginia and the Virginia Department of Historic Resources are offering a series of virtual, educational workshops on the fundamentals of historic preservation. The Virginia Preservation Academy will feature live lectures from preservation professionals of varying backgrounds, with direct interaction between participants and panelists.
The 2022 Academy will consist of 4, 90-minute workshops, to be held March-April. Recordings of the workshops will serve as the foundation for a library of preservation training videos, which will be available to the public on the Virginia Department of Historic Resources’ and Preservation Virginia’s websites.
Attendees are eligible to receive Certification Maintenance (CM) credits of 1.5 per webinar. Information on how to receive credits will be available after participants are registered.
Cost is $25 per workshop, and $10 per workshop for Preservation Virginia members.
