Adam will share his talk “Boston and Segregation By Design” followed by a Q&A and breakout rooms to continue the discussion. His presentation will be preceded by a short business meeting including voting in a new slate of Board Members for the Boston Preservation Alliance.
About Segregated By Design:
Segregation By Design is inspired by Richard Rothstein's book, The Color of Law. Through a series of stark aerial before-and-after comparisons, figure-ground diagrams, and demographic data, the project will reveal the extent to which the American city was methodically hollowed out based on race.
